According to a Grayscale blog released on 10th October 2024, the firm has included a number of assets in the “Assets under consideration” category which include some community favourites like $KAS , $RUNE , $AERO to begin with.
According to the blog released, Kaspa ( $KAS ) is the only asset considered under the currencies section by Grayscale.
The maximum number of assets under consideration belong to the smart contract platform category which includes projects like Aptos, Arbitrum, Celestia, Mantle, Polygon , Toncoin etc.
Aerodome Finance ( $AERO ) which has been trending for the past month and has seen a 117% pump in price has also been included as one of the assets under consideration.
Thorchain ( $RUNE ) is one of the projects along with Akash, ASI, Helium, VeChain etc which belongs to the utilities and services category of the assets.
It is to be noted though that assets under consideration lists digital assets not included in the Grayscale investment product but identified by the team as possible candidates for future inclusion.
The complete list includes : AERO, AKT, APT, AR, ARB, ATOM, CELO, CORE, DOGE, ENA, FET, HNT, ICP, IMX, INJ, KAS, METIS, OM, OP, PENDLE, POL, PYTH, RUNE, SEI, STRK, TIA, TON, TRX, UMA, VET, and WLD.
