Fetch.ai, a founding member of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI), has announced a new collaboration with Alibaba Cloud to provide advanced cloud services, supporting the integration of Web2 and Web3 technologies. The partnership, facilitated by Cloudician—a key Web3 ecosystem partner of Alibaba Cloud in the APAC region—marks a strategic step towards expanding AI and decentralized applications within the ASI network.
Key Highlights of the Collaboration:
- Improved Security and Infrastructure: Alibaba Cloud’s proven, high-performance cloud infrastructure is set to enhance the Fetch.ai network’s security. The addition of Alibaba’s global resources, extensive bandwidth, and broad coverage will strengthen the network, reduce latency, and improve user experience in cross-region deployments.
- Focus on Validator Security: In decentralized systems, validators are crucial for transaction verification and ledger integrity. With Alibaba Cloud, Fetch.ai aims to bolster the security of its decentralized AI infrastructure, creating a more secure, robust environment for transactions and network management.
- Bridging Web2 and Web3: This collaboration underscores a shared goal of linking traditional internet technologies with decentralized networks, opening up pathways for wider adoption and advancing AI application possibilities in the Web3 space.
Humayun Sheikh, CEO of Fetch.ai and chairman of the ASI, commented on the collaboration:
“Security is fundamental to our network’s integrity. Partnering with Alibaba Cloud allows us to deliver enhanced security, maintain high service availability, and ensure business continuity. Together, we aim to redefine what’s possible in decentralized AI technology.
