Mythical Games, in collaboration with FIFA, has announced FIFA Rivals, an officially licensed free-to-play mobile football game set to launch in the summer of 2025. The game will be available on iOS and Android, though a specific release date has not yet been confirmed.
Game Features
FIFA Rivals will allow players to build and manage their football clubs, compete in real-time online matches, and trade NFT collectibles. These NFTs will feature iconic soccer stars and can be bought, sold, and traded through an exclusive in-game marketplace.
The game will operate on the Mythos blockchain, continuing FIFA’s venture into Web3 and NFT gaming. Mythical Games previously launched NFL Rivals in April 2023, which also incorporated collectible NFT player cards minted on the Mythos blockchain. The NFL title has since surpassed 6 million downloads across platforms.

This project marks FIFA’s latest foray into blockchain gaming following initiatives during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where NFT-based collectibles were introduced. The partnership with Mythical Games emphasizes FIFA’s interest in leveraging blockchain technology to enhance fan engagement.
